Ally Brooke has signed a solo record deal with Latium Entertainment/Atlantic Records.

The former Fifth Harmony star announced the news on Twitter before Atlantic confirmed the signing with an official press release.

To celebrate her new chapter, Ally shared a heartfelt message in which she stated that she had now fulfilled a dream she’s been working for since she was 12 years old.

Sharing a picture of herself next to the Atlantic Records logo, Ally tweeted: “Story time friends… I had a dream since I was 12 years old to be signed to a label. My parents brought me from San Antonio to LA at that tender age, simply because they believed in me.

“We didn’t have much, but we sure had a dream. We took every meeting, every session, every opportunity imaginable, and worked our behinds off for YEARS. Laughing, crying, sacrificing, hoping, wishing, and praying.

“Fast forward to today – look!!! After this photo was taken, I let it all sink in, thought of that 12 year old me, and started to tear up. God is so so so great friends. Keep believing and keep working. Now this is where it all begins! I can’t wait for y’all to hear everything I’m working on!!!!!!!!!!”

In Atlantic’s press release, Ally added that: “There are no words to describe how happy I am to be with Atlantic Records/Latium Artists. It is a real dream come true. I am extremely thankful to have a label and team who fiercely believe in me and my vision. It is the greatest gift you can ask for as an artist. I can’t wait to share our art with the world!”

Co-Founder of Latium Entertainment, Charles Chavezstates added: “We are beyond excited about Ally Brooke coming to our family. She has a global fan base, an amazing voice and to top it all off is a fellow Texan.”

Latium Entertainment is a joint venture with Atlantic Records and Warner Music Group Worldwide. The company’s current roster features a diverse range of artists who have sold over 100 million records globally including MAGIC! and Messiah.

Ally is best known for her time in girlband Fifth Harmony, who achieved incredible success during their career. The group racked up two triple-platinum selling singles (‘Work From Home’ featuring Ty Dolla $ign’ and ‘Worth It’ featuring Kid Ink), in addition to a string of platinum and gold selling singles, three certified albums, sold out tours, and numerous awards.

Now, we can look forward to the new era of Ally Brooke. With her debut solo single expected to drop later this fall, the press release states that we can look forward to “a throwback nineties spirit and energy”, “Latin roots”, and “a though-provoking message” which spotlights Ally’s “powerful, poignant, and passionate voice.”

Having already touched the surface on Lost Kings’ ‘Look At Us Now’ and Topic’s ‘Perfect’, we’re more than ready to hear what Ally has to offer.
