Are RHOBH Stars Kyle Richards And Newbie Denise Richards Related?
Richards is a popular last name in the world of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Fans first met sisters Kyle and Kim Richards when the show premiered in 2010, and this season, actress Denise Richards joined the cast. Does the shared last name mean that Denise is related to Kyle and Kim?
According to The Daily Dish, Kyle has known Denise for years, but there is “absolutely no relation” between Denise and the Richards sisters.

“11 years ago, I was part of this ‘Hollywood moms’ group,” Kyle said during the RHOBH Season 9 premiere. “It was Lisa Rinna, Denise Richards, Ali Landry, myself, Alison Sweeney, and we would get together now and then. Everyone would bring a potluck, whatever their favorite dessert was, and that’s how I got to know Denise originally.”
Kyle also revealed that her history with Denise’s ex-husband Charlie Sheen is even longer. Kyle said that she has known Sheen since she was about 13 or 14 years old because he was the best friend of her then-boyfriend, C. Thomas Howell. However, Kyle says that she didn’t love when Howell would hang out with Sheen because she never knew what would happen or what they would bring home.
Even though Kyle and Denise go way back, that is not the case for Kim and Denise. Last August, Kim told People Magazine that she didn’t know Denise, and when she found out that Bravo had cast her on RHOBH she thought “OK, so I didn’t come back, so [bring on] another Richards.”
Kim added that she thinks Denise is beautiful, and she wished her luck on the Bravo reality show.
Earlier this week, Denise appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, to spill some behind-the-scenes secrets about this season of RHOBH. And, she admitted that for her the most surprising thing about the show was the fact that it is “not scripted at all.”

The Wild Things actress said that the show is “real reality,” and it was difficult to get used to being around people who aren’t discreet. Denise explained that when they go out and eat at restaurants, all of the other people around them are real people who are eating food.
Denise says she will not follow in Erika Girardi’s footsteps and enlist a glam squad to follow her around because that’s just not who she is. However, when Cohen asked Denise Richards if Sheen is watching her on RHOBH, she replied “probably” with a big smile and nod.
