Are your chills multiplying? Because I think I’m losing control!

ABC and Fox have decided to do a live TV special of the 1987 film Grease, that’s set to air next year on the 31st of January 2016.

We’ll be taken back to Rydell High to follow an adaptation of our favourite ever American 90’s movie with the T-birds and Pink Ladies.

Thanks to the photo that Vanessa Hudgens posted on her Instagram, we were able to figure out who the main characters are. Julianna Hough who you may recognise from Footloose is going to be darling little Sandra-dee, Aaron Tviet is playing hot shot Danny Zucko and High School Musical‘s fave, Vanessa Hudgens is playing Rizzo.

We’ve also got Keke Palmer as Marty, Carly Rae Jepsen as Frenchy, Kether Donahue as Jan, Carlos PenaVega as Kenickie, and David Del Rio as Putzie.

The iconic musical starring young John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John was released 37 years ago and the original cast is a tough act to beat but I’m excited to see Sandy and Danny together again.

Grease wouldn’t exactly be Grease without the leather jackets and the 50’s hairstyles, or hand- jiving down school corridors now would it?
