Prateik Babbar Facts

He began consuming drugs at the young age of 13 and, over time, got addicted to hard drugs like cocaine, hashish, marijuana, ecstasy, LSD, etc. Nevertheless, he turned his life around and overcame his addiction in 2016.

His mother and veteran actress Smita Patil died on December 13, 1986, around 2 weeks after giving birth to Prateik due to complications arising from childbirth.

In April 2021, Prateik got his mother’s name tattooed on his chest near his heart as a tribute to her. The tattoo reads Smita 1955-∞ (Smita Patil was born in 1955).
